Lucky 11 Studios is the
work of award-winning design director, graphic designer and
illustrator Chris Skiles. Currently residing in Houston, Chris is
the Design Director of Houstonia magazine where he
leads a small art department in the ongoing growth of the city’s
first paid-circulation regional city publication.
Houstonia has been (and is currently) the highest-selling
magazine in Houston since it’s launch in April of 2013.
Before returning to the South, Chris was the Associate Art
Director at Seattle
Met magazine in Seattle, Washington where he worked as one
of only two designers for the highly-respected regional city

He was also the Art Director of MauiTime Weekly in Hawaii, Art Director at Marion Montgomery, Inc., Advertising Art Director and Associate Designer for ENVY Houston & Dallas magazines (no longer in publication) and Graphic Designer for Regency Publishing where he worked on titles such as Farm & Ranch, Pinnacle and Residence magazines—also in Houston, Texas.
