David Lemon worked at Adobe from 1986 until 2017, and managed the type development team there for most of that time. While at Adobe he also helped define several significant typographic technologies, including Multiple Masters (introduced 1992), OpenType and CFF (introduced 1996), and OpenType Font Variations (i.e. variable fonts, introduced 2016).
