Rustika and the lighter Rienzi were first cast by Schelter & Giesecke in 1901. [Reichardt 2011] Registered in March 1900 (as Rustica) [Reichsanzeiger] and Nov. 1900 (as Rienzi) [Reichsanzeiger]. Rustika was also cast by Augusta as Galileo. [Reichardt 2011] Also listed with the prefix Versalschrift (German for an all-caps typeface). Comes with various alternates (Rustika: E M N) and ligatures (Rustika: CH, EN, ER; Rienzi: AU, CH, EI, EN, ER, ET, EU, LA, LT).
