First released by Berthold in 1914 as Lo-Schrift (Lo = Louis Oppenheim) in 3 styles; (a bold and narrow) regular weight, accompanied by Lo-Kursiv and a fett. Completed in 1926 with mager and halbfett “Werk” weights. [Seemann, Reichardt] Also available in wood. Lettergieterij Amsterdam had it as Nero. Revived and expanded by Erik Spiekermann as LoType in 1980.
