Based on the German car license plate typeface FE-Schrift, i.e. fälschungserschwerende Schrift (“forgery-impeding typeface”), designed by Karlgeorg Hoefer in 1978–80 and introduced in 1994. Digitized and expanded with a lowercase. Comes in two widths, FE Mittelschrift and the condensed FE Engschrift. Discontinued in 2019.
