AKA Kreideschrift Gong. First cast in 1945 by Norddeutsche Schriftgießerei, the precursor of the Johannes Wagner foundry. Both the stroke width and the size of the mottled pattern are consistent across all sizes. This enabled the combination of various sizes in one word. Appears in a catalog by Typefouders of Chicago as Chalkscript Gong. Jowa Script is a solid version. See also Imperio.
