Sometime before 1906, C. Kloberg issued a typeface named Bavaria in five styles ([Regular], Brotschrift, Buchschrift, mager, licht). [Reichardt 2011] Not to be confused with Bavaria Kursiv (Genzsch & Heyse, 1906). The sample shown here is Halbfette Bavaria as included in a printer’s specimen (alongside Gewöhnliche Bavaria). It is not yet confirmed that this is indeed the Bavaria as cast by Kloberg.
