Designed by Morris F. Benton in 1916 in 2 styles, Roman and Italic, both with alternate swash caps and a range of ligatures, “adapted from steel or copperplate engravings, but not completed and released until 1918.” [McGrew]
Digitally revived by Rebecca Alaccari as Odette (Canada Type, 2004, used for the sample), covering both styles with alternates and ligatures. Society Page NF (Nick's Fonts, 2009) is another, less extensive interpretation of the Roman.
