Cut by punchcutting firm Riegerl & Weißenborn [Bertheau] or
Wagner & Schmidt [Reichardt] in Leipzig and first sold by the
Böttger foundry in Paunsdorf in 1907 as
Antiqua 7
in regular and halbfett. In 1910, fett and schmalhalbfett styles
were added. When Berthold acquired Böttger in 1918, the family was
renamed to Antiqua 7P. Also cast by Haas as
Rhenania-Antiqua (1910), by Numrich (and later Bauer)
as Universitäts-Antiqua (1911), by Klinkhardt as
Standard-Antiqua (1912), by Weisert as
Goethe-Antiqua (1927). Expanded to 5 styles incl. a kursiv, it became best known
under the name Druckhaus-Antiqua as used by Zanker
(1912 [VdS]), Brüder Butter (see Schriftguss),
