A chromatic typeface designed in-house at Schelter & Giesecke and issued in 1888 as Aurora [Wetzig 1926–40]. Also cast by Società Urania as Serie Argentina and by Società Augusta as Margherita [Reichardt 2011].

Solotype had a film version named Showboat. Crudely digitized under this name by David Rakowski (Insect Bytes, 1991) and extended by Dieter Steffmann with accented characters in 2002 (used for the sample).
