Designed by Marty Goldstein together with C.B. Smith and published by VGC in 1966. Harry is named for Goldstein’s father [Red Rooster]. Three styles were issued around 1970 [Archiv für Druck und Papier]. The 1972 VGC catalog shows six styles; Thin, Plain, Heavy, Fat, Obese Squeezed, Obese. Letraset’s Horatio (1971) is a close follower.
Revived by Steve Jackaman and Ashley Muir as Harry Pro (ITF/Red Rooster, 2010), adding four new styles to the original six [MyFonts], resulting in ten weights each in regular and condensed (“Squeezed”) widths.
