A film typeface of unclear origin, made in or before 1971. Shown by Alphabet Innovations as Sledge Hammer. Shown in Dan X. Solo’s Art Deco Display Alphabets (1982) as Bust and in Moderne Alphabets (1999) as Chesty, with alternates for ‘BJMNPRuvwxy5’. Castcraft’s Encyclopedia mentions Sledgehammer as a similar face.
Dick Pape created a limited freebie digitization as DXS Bust (2010, used for sample). Whangarei (Jadugar Design Studio, 2016) is another interpretation.
