Book jacket and interior page spreads for Hidden Folk, a collection of fantastic short stories by Eleanor Arnason based on Icelandic folklore. Published by Many Worlds Press.
No, the interior text face is Ross Mills’s Huronia. Beorcana could work very well as a text face, but it’s unusual-looking enough that it might provoke disquiet in some potential readers. I’m still looking for the right project to use Beorcana as the text face. (Well, I did use it in a brochure once, and I’ve used it for promotional cards and such, but I haven’t tried using it as the text face for a book.)

Is Beorcana used for text in the interior? Or just on the cover? btw, Beorcana is a great fit for a book of folk tales.

Please share with us some interior images, John! I’d love to add a Huronia use here. You can edit the use and add them anytime.
