Crypton is a battered battery charger from the 1940s, featuring Profil (Haas, 1946; digitized by Bitstream as Decorated 035) for the brand name. “Battery Charger” is rendered in “gaspipe”-style lettering as it was common in this period. Among fonts, Futura Display probably comes closest, with its round ‘E’ and the narrow ‘C’. Some details are off, though. Fresno Black is another typeface in this genre. The brush script for “Home” is also lettering.

The fonts might be slightly off but the advert is correct on the quality… Mine is still going strong at 56 years old.
