Fraenkel was a bedding store that opened up in 1981 in Vienna’s 15th disctrict. The signage used Expressa with minor alterations to the 'a’ and 'e’. After the close-down in 2013 the sign was dismounted and added to the collection of Stadtschrift, the association for the collection, preservation and documentation of historical facade signs.

At one side of the corner shop the interior neon tubes had been replaced by cheaper LED lighting.
