Northern Quarter after dark and Manchester after hours was a one night only festival of culture and creativity which took place in May 2014.
I worked with photographer James Welch to create some distinctive images using liquid and paints mixed together to mimic the look and feel of a dreamlike universe.
The beautiful photography helped form the basis for the overall brand identity.
A set of beermats were also letterpressed using two simple colours which when merged together recreated the style of the posters in a more elementary manner.
The event, now called Manchester After Hours, is ongoing. Grist is still used for headline type, seen here on its website.
