Hope (red, white, blue), 2008. Screenprint on paper. 17 × 17 in. 43.2 × 43.2 cm. Edition of 200.
Not exactly Clarendon, but Robert Indiana was most likely inspired by it. The biggest change is in the ‘O’, with its nearly flat-sided counter, a form borrowed from his famous LOVE paintings and sculptures of the 1960s.
