Correspondence from 1972 typed on Steendrukkerij de Jong & Co letterhead.
Steendrukkerij de Jong & Co, active 1911–94, was a Dutch printer with an important role in mid-century modern design, during the time Pieter Brattinga served as design director. Collaborators included Bruno Munari, Wim Crouwel, and the Stedelijk Museum. It’s not clear who designed this letterhead – perhaps Brattinga – but the logo poster below (with its hand drawn ‘j’) was designed in 1957 by OttoTreumann.
