This is a fairly early use of Futura in the US where it wasn’t pervasive until it was copied in the 1940s by domestic foundries besides Intertype. Futura and Bodoni, however, was a common combination throughout the 1930s–50s. Note the ellipsis (on both pages) to separate thoughts without breaking lines so everything can stay in a tidy, justified text block.
