The Norwegian release of Ginger Baker’s Air Force’s 1970 hit single features the same photograph as the German one, here in black and white. The band name is shown in stacked and interlocked lines of tightly spaced lowercase Carousel (Letraset, 1966). The song titles are in all-caps Folio Light. Bauer’s neo-grotesque came with an alternate straight-legged R for all styles. Letraset’s adaptation of Folio Light only included this glyph variant. The digital versions don’t have any alternates. There it’s the Light Italic which features the R with the straight leg, as the only style of the family.
