Back in 1991 SNK released the first home video game system that brought the games from the arcade, unaltered, into the gamers’ homes. An essential piece of accessory was the “memory card” which allowed saving your current state and load it on either the home-console or the arcade-system.
While creating a vector-image of this hardware for the upcoming officially licensed SNK Book: NEOGEO: A VISUAL HISTORY ネオジオ〜目で楽しむ軌跡〜 from Bitmap Books I found the fonts used are Univers 57 Condensed for “ADVANCED ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM” and “RAM 2K BYTES USED LITHIUM BATTERY”, Aster for “MEMORY CARD” and Helvetica 55 Roman Regular for the “NEO-IC8”.
