I was gonna use this as an example of AG in a presentation but I’m pretty sure it’s actually Helvetica. If it were AG the question mark would have a corner instead of a curve, and the apostraphes/commas would be more slender.
Look again: Akzidenz-Grotesk is not the most consistent family. Actually, it is quite a smorgasbord of typographic details, for historic reasons: it wasn’t conceived systematically as a harmonized series of styles. You are right that AG’s question mark exhibits a distinct hook in the Regular (and the Light Italic, but not in the upright Light). This appears to be the Medium, which has a curved question mark – and a sturdier apostrophe.
