The cover for My Bloody Valentine’s Loveless is just as iconic as the music itself. Angus Cameron pink-tinted, blurry close-up mid-strum incapsulates the perfect storm contained within. While not a type-heavy composition, the use of ITC’s Kabel (recognizable by, among other things, the high x-height) has come to influence many a work after it, including Sofia Coppola’s Lost In Translation.
