The South Tyrolean office for communication and design Doc conceived the identity for the exhibition Luther und Tirol. The event focuses on the topic of Protestantism in Tyrol, on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, initiated by Martin Luther in 1517.
Ironically, Doc make prominent use of ITC Bodoni, a digital interpretation of the types by Giambattista Bodoni (1740–1813), who spent 8 years of his career as a typesetter in the Vatican’s Sacra Congregatio de Propaganda Fide (the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples).
