Kunstszene Zürich is an art exhibition open to the public and free to the artists that is organized by the Presidential Department of the city of Zurich every four years. There is no jury selecting artwork, instead everybody is free to submit artwork as long as there’s exhibition space available. Thus the shown art ranges the whole gamut from professional to amateur art, often with art students sprinkled in between.

This circumstance reflects in the typeface choice of GT Haptik and the slightly crooked but constantly changing baseline for the texts. The simple typography with one type size and the center axis, as well as the restricted use of just one color aside from the black, lends focus to the type itself.
