For what (it seems) was the third album for The Saints & Sinners the Dixieland jazz band that did tours of Europe in 1968 and 1969, Germany’s MPS Records featured a design by Heinz Bähr, who is credited on many of the label’s releases. The cover has a notably unusual choice of a Gill Sans heavier weight, probably “extra heavy” series 321, as primary display typeface. In current digital form, it would be best re-created with Gill Sans Display Extra Bold (note the bottom counter of the lowercase ‘g’: in the standard extra bold available, it is simply too round).

The artist’s name, and subtitle of the album, is in Futura (Light).
