From Dangles Architectes:

The castle of Auxonne was built immediately after the capture of Burgundy by King Louis XI in 1485. […] As part of a tourism and heritage development project, the city of Auxonne initiated the restoration of the site. The renewal of the small museum Bonaparte is the first step towards a larger revaluation of the site […] Our mission included programming and evaluating the feasibility of restructuring the museum, monitoring operations and sites.
With Public&Culture, Paris.

Design of the visitor’s parcours by Isabell Allégret (scenography) and Graphibus (graphic design), with illustrations by Tristan Maillet. Architect for the renovation of the building: François Peyre.

The typeface is Minuscule 2, the most extreme style of Thomas Huot-Marchand’s typeface series designed for very small sizes. Started at the ANRT in 2002 and inspired by the findings of ophthalmologist Louis Émile Javal, Minuscule received a Certificate of Excellence in Type Design from the Type Directors Club New York in 2005. Minuscule 2’s peculiar shapes were conceived to stay legible at sizes as small as 2pt, but of course they have eye-catching qualities when used as display type, too.
