Twisted Blood is a grainy EP that sounds like if Hype Williams started making proper club tackle. The title track begins as an instrumental grime jam that ends up sounding like a lo-fi Jam City. With it’s hissing fauna keyboards and dubby feel, ‘Doom’ is the closest Lukid gets to the Blunt/Copeland sound. ‘The Yips’ does a similar thing to the eponymous opener, while closer ‘Another Victory For Furniture’ sees Luke Blair nudging the bpm down to house tempo and recalling Hype Williams’s classic ‘Mitsubishi’. — Bleep.com

Designer Paul Camo Roberts used Alias Harbour for title graphics. GLUM is set in the Escher-like Knirsch, presumably specially drawn or scanned from source material, as no digitised version exists.
