Hershey’s Chocolate Contributed by Chris Purcell on Apr 6th, 2018. Artwork published in 2014. License: All Rights Reserved. The foundation of a brand makeover for Hershey’s Chocolate is not Helvetica Extra Compressed, but Milton, a custom font named after the company’s founder, Milton Hershey. The redesigned logo and supporting identity was launched in 2014 and designed by Hershey Global Design — led by Ron Burrage, Sr. Director Global Head of Design — and Cincinnati, OH-based goDutch. The custom font was provided by New York, NY-based Alexander Design Associates. Brandon Grotesque is used as supporting typeface. See also the review on Brand New. The current website combines Milton (for call-to-action buttons) and Brandon Grotesque (menus) with Brandon Text (smaller copy). Europa is yet another sans serif that appears in headlines.
