This typographic poster was designed by Sarah Boris. She utilized the economic proportions of Mars Condensed to display the title as large as possible, in capitals, with one half in negative and one half in positive. The information about date and venue are set in the wide sibling font, Mars Extended.
“Soldiers, suffragettes and women citizens: women photographers and politics” was an event organized by ARIP (L’association de Recherche sur l’Image Photographique) together with FETART as part of the Circulation(s) festival:
The title of this day dedicated to research … fully invites to think about the investment of women in the photographic profession and their commitments. More broadly, it is therefore a matter of questioning the thought of politics through the prism of sex or gender.
