Psychotic Reaction is the first and only studio album from American psychedelic/garage rock band, Count Five. The title track – which helped popularize the use of distorted guitar effects that would eventually become standard for garage rock, psychedelic rock, punk, metal, etc. – reached number 5 on the Billboard charts in October 1966.

The cover features a modified version of Alphabet Lapidaire Monstre, accompanied by a squarish sans – perhaps Fiedler Gothic or one of the other similar faces available for phototypesetting in the 1960s.
