Pencil case from Eberhard Faber, probably from the 1960s, featuring Volta fett (Bauer, 1956). The typeface designed by Konrad F. Bauer and Walter Baum was slightly modified for the “DUOGRAPH” logo: the R lost its upward-pointing exit stroke and A got a top bar for a more cohesive word image. See how the packaging for colored pencils looks like nowadays on eberhardfaber.de.

  1. What a great package!

The ‘H’ is different, too, with a small bottom counter. Perhaps they started with Volta but lettered the logo entirely.
