“Ambrosia” (Greek: ἀμβροσία) is the food of Gods which was brought to mount Olympus by doves.
Ambrosia is also a new (fictional) food magazine, designed as a part of my editorial design course, embracing all the main aspects of modern life: business, science, travelling and etc. This is a new format — a monthly magazine, which relies on the intellectual content and quality, attracting the most demanding audience. The task of this project was to raise gastronomy to a new level and highlight it as an important part of culture.
The magazine is divided into different sections (with articles collected from different resources) resembling a dish made from various ingredients. Each part reveals one topic that describes food as a cultural phenomenon. In the main articles you can find a detachable recipe related to the particular topic.
The format of the magazine (160×240 mm / 2:3) refers to the size of the restaurant menu — narrow and compact. It is a periodic issue with some food for thought.
