Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf orchestral fairy tale for children narrated by Captain Kangaroo (Bob Keeshan). Orchestral Suite, Opus 67, Stokowski conducting the Stadium Symphony Orchestra of New York.

“Released by Everest Records in 1960. The puppets on the cover are the Bunin Puppets.” — The Holding Coat

The main typeface is Piscitelle Holly, an animated Latin — i.e. a style with sharp triangular serifs, see e.g. Latin Bold, distinguished by a jumpy baseline — designed by George Piscitelle for Photo-Lettering, Inc. There’s no digital version, but House Industries’s Latino Samba is in the same ballpark.

The reissue by International House Of Pancakes from 1968 sticks to Piscitelle Holly and pairs it with a light Clarendon.
