The name of metal festival Franc-Tamponnage means something like “frank stamping” or “point-blank thudding” It’s a highly original motto for a festival. As Atelier Tout va bien states: “We took this expression literally and built an extremely simple narration system: two images that, with each other, imply the very idea of buffering.” Cause and effect: Horns of Baphomet + broken glass = stamping. Rock + meteorite impact = buffering.

Here, the use of Apoc for the typography makes sense in the way that occultism inspired its design. As a title font it underlines the sharp and aggressive feeling this music festival might convey.
