Reklameschrift Secession was first cast by Vienna-based type foundry Eduard Scholz sometime before 1905, when it was shown in Ludwig Petzendorfer’s seminal Schriftenatlas. Neue Folge. Several decades later, the Art Nouveau face was adopted for phototype by Photo-Lettering, Inc. and shown in their Alphabet Thesaurus Vol. 3 (1971). Somehow it also found its way to the UK, where the cover designer for Pan Books discovered it, and thought its blotty shapes would make a good complement to the ominous cover art by Ian Miller. HiH issued a digital revival as Scholz Secession in 2007.

Beyond Tomorrow is an anthology edited by Damon Knight and includes stories by Ray Bradbury, Arthur C. Clarke, Robert A. Heinlein, A. E. van Vogt, Isaac Asimov, Kate Wilhelm, and others.
