Poster inspired by the travel advertisement posters designed by David Klein for TWA (Trans World Airlines) in the 1950s–1960s, as seen in the Jean-Luc Godard’s movie Two or Three Things I Know About Her. A few of these posters can be seen on the walls in the cinema trailer. The design combines arrows from Heneczekwith elements of paintings from Russian avant-garde art works, collected by Igor Savitsky and stored in the Nukus Museum of Art in Uzbekistan.
At first I had difficulties finding the mentioned Heneczek in the images. But that’s because I didn’t read carefully: It’s the arrows! Threedotstype apparently have listened to the requests by Ivo Gabrowitsch, an emphatic advocate for the inclusion of more arrows in fonts. Heneczek’s range should make him happy (from the specimen pdf):
