Neptun used with colored initials, on the cover of an album by jazz saxophonists Lee Konitz, Phil Woods, Leo Wright, and Pony Poindexter. Recorded at MPS Tonstudio in Villingen, Germany, Alto Summit was first released in 1968 on MPS Records. This is the UK version by Polydor Records, issued in their Jazz Masters series in 1969.
Lee Konitz (born October 13, 1927, Chicago) was the last of the musicians to pass away. He died April 15, 2020, in Greenwich Village, New York City, during the Covid-19 pandemic.
