Bad Banks is a German-Luxembourgian television series first aired in February 2018. The financial thriller has won multiple awards.

The opening credits show animated type, reflecting the gloomy and disturbing atmosphere of the film. Individual letters grow and shrink, as if they would fall or soar along the vertical axis of the camera. This title typeface is yet unidentified.

In the story, the main characters often secretly exchange text messages or call each other, which is shown to the viewer in JAF Bernino Sans Condensed. When a foreign language is spoken, the translation is shown in Univers 47 Light Condensed.

  1. Sorry, I don’t recognize the title face. Details like the wide W with the low center look amateurish. The closest I could find is AR Techni. It’s similar in most structural traits, but not a match. I’ve included it at the bottom of the image, for comparison.

  2. Whatever it is, there are major spacing issues. I predict freebie.
