  1. Thanks for contributing the first example of Quartermaine in use!

    This typeface was designed by Stuart Longley for Face Photosetting in London. Typeshop’s 1973 catalog shows that there were at least two styles, including one with a solid shadow. Maybe Mathieu can check if Face had additional styles. Quartermaine Square Shadow – which is used here – was licensed by Letraset before 1973. Here’s the glyph set from a Letraset catalog:

    We’d love to learn more about your dad! All we know about him is that he designed Quartermaine and Catalogue Shadow for Face Photosetting. The former was licensed to Letraset and distributed internationally. Did he design any other typefaces?
