Best-of compilation by Fred Astaire, released on Epic Records in 1955. Photo by Hal Reiff. No additional cover designer credited.
The title features Crown Crystal Roman, in all caps, set on an angle, with colored initials. This wide serif is distinguished by the ball terminals on S (as well as on C, G, c, a, g, r, s etc.). The glyph set shown in Alphabet Thesaurus Vol. 2 (1965) reveals it came with less ballsy alternates for these characters. Crystal Roman is one of several faces designed by Milton Crown (1913–2000) for Photo-Lettering, Inc.
