Compilation of five rumba/ciso tracks, 1975 French pressing on EMI-Pathé label. Founded in Brazzaville, Congo Republic in 1964 as The Super Band (with Pierre and Kosmos Moutouari), the group was later renamed to Orchestre Sinza, or Orchestre Sinza Kotoko.

  1. I think there’s a mod to Renner’s Futura Black: Stagg!

    The uppercase has the same design, but with round circles on the E, F and H and they have lines on every letter and number.

    It appeared on some reference books, for example, Berthold Fototypes E1 from 1974.

  2. Thanks, Jay! According to the info in Berthold’s E1 catalog, the full name is Stagg Shaded. It originated at Facsimile Fonts. Cavanagh Bingo is another similar face with disks in place of middle bars. Among digital options, there’s the Stripes style of Futura Black Art Deco (Berthold, 1976; digital from URW).
