The eclectic type mix includes three faces with roots in the 19th century: Jim Crow was originally cast by the Dickinson Type Foundry as Gothic Shade circa 1850. Renaissant likewise originated at Dickinson, in 1879. The condensed slab serif looks like a version of Skeleton Antique. This face was first released as wood type by William H. Page under the name Clarendon XX Condensed in 1859. See the respective typeface pages for digital options.
