There are hints of Bossa Nova, Flamenco and some kind of Avant-Garde, at times it sounds like Sonny Sharrock practising a Paco De Lucia songbook (or reverse). I already had his second album Aura, which was ok, but in my humble opinion this one is much more than ok.
French pressing on Voxigrave label, 1979. A black-and-white cover featuring snakes, a guitar, and the artist’s name in Lucia Shadow: The very same recipe had already been used for the equally self-titled debut release from 1976, albeit in a less distilled form.
