Omnes is the font family used for Bazana!, an Indian brand offering healthy roasted snacks.

First released in 2006, Darden Studio has expanded Omnes with SemiCondensed, Condensed, and Narrow widths in 2018, for greater versatility. For introducing the widths, we designed a series of condiment packs that showcase the new range of styles. It makes us happy to see that design agency Artisticodopeo saw the potential of the greater Omnes family for food packaging and branding. The colorful Bazana! identity uses Omnes in two of the four widths (standard and SemiCondensed), and in multiple weights. Omnes appears on the packaging and on the website, from headlines and menus to body copy and nutrition facts. It’s used literally for everything except the logo.

  1. Thank you for the shoutout and appreciation Darden Studio! It was a pleasure to use the Omnes font family in the conceptualization, strategy and design execution of the brand for my client Bazana! Foods Pvt. Ltd. After researching a few hundred fonts in the course of designing the Bazana! brand, I shortlisted the Omnes font family very early on as it perfectly complimented the original hand drawn typography for the Bazana! Logo. Very legible on our 15g packs too, it’s a versatile font I’ve had the pleasure of working with.
