“Flashes” poster for AïOLI Gdańsk

In 2019, Polish graphic designer Ada Zielińska made a series of incredible illustrations/posters that were inspired by music and general aesthetics of the ’70s and ’80s.
One of these posters is entitled “Flashes”, which was designed for and part of Ada’s personal exhibition at AïOLI Gdańsk.
As you might have recognized already, the title is set in Digestive by Studio Triple. To be more precise, it’s Digestive Zero (the most condensed style) with a tracking of +285.
It’s interesting how, even though Digestive itself doesn’t look like a typeface from the ’70s or ’80s at all, it entirely fits the mood of this poster. Whether the poster is more reminiscent of our time or from 30+ years ago, it feels pretty timeless.
