Les Deux Scènes / Scène nationale de Besançon was born in 2012 from the union of two institutions, the “Théâtre musical” and the “Théâtre de l’Espace”. Since 2013, Garaje has been in use for various communication matter of “Les 2 Scènes”.

The communication documents of the first season were printed with two spot colors, blue and red, visible with 3D glasses (anaglyphs): one could see with one eye what was happening in one place, and what was going on in the second was captured by the other eye; the same treatment was applied to the systematically superimposed images.

  1. The small type is Mononi Mono, which is also used on the theaters’ website. This monospaced typeface is an evolution of Mononi, the monolinear Bodoni-based typeface created by Thomas Huot-Marchand in 2008 for the identity of the Théâtre musical de Besançon.
