For their “Ones to Watch” series, It’s Nice That invited London-based illustrator Alva Skog to portrait the 12 emerging creative talents. The brightly colored illustrations found a typographic match in Media Sans. With its compact forms, tight spacing, and extra large x-height, the display sans by Production Type lends itself to being paired with bold images. First name, portrait, and second name are arranged in layers for a simple but effective illusion of spatial depth.
