Calçats Melchor is a shoe store in Palma de Mallorca, established in 1971. I was struck by how distinctive the font on this shop front looked. The photos on their Facebook page as well as the captures by Google Street View suggest that these signs were introduced in 2016. The font in use is Pretendo (2002), a freebie made by Garon Rossignol AKA Jackster3000 based on the Nintendo logo. As Pretendo doesn’t have any numerals, the year was added in a bold weight from ITC Quorum.
