Halyard Text and Halyard Micro are used together on the website of Little Pearl Restaurant in Washington, D.C. Each of the two optical sizes of Darden Studio’s Halyard series appears in two weights. While Halyard Text was chosen for body copy, Halyard Micro makes sure that the small print like the footer menu and the contact info stays crisp.
Halyard is paired with two styles from another large sans-serif family: Linotype’s Univers is featured with the 59 Ultra Condensed (for the circle menu) and the 93 Extra Black Extended (for headings).
Little Pearl is run by award-winning chef and restaurateur Aaron Silverman. It received a Michelin Star in 2020.
